I'm Kamila, and I'd like to share the story that inspired me to create Lumbini Jewelry.

My passion for gemstones was sparked during my childhood in Thailand 🇹🇭, where I grew up surrounded by people who introduced me to these incredible, one-of-a-kind natural treasures.

This passion eventually became my life's path, leading me to earn my diploma in gemology from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in 2018.

A true jewelry lover and a firm believer in the energy of gemstones, I was searching for pieces I could wear every day.

Unfortunately, every piece of jewelry I ordered online turned out to be nothing but lies and disappointment:

Plastic, non-natural stones
Threads that broke after just a few days
Poor-quality materials, far from what was promised

Some stores even charged high prices, only to be drop shipping sites selling mass-produced jewelry from factories in China.

Exhausted by all these scams, I decided to take a leap of faith and create my own gemstone jewelry brand: Lumbini.

And at the end, I’ll reveal the secret behind the name of this brand…

At Lumbini, the authenticity of each stone is carefully verified before assembly, ensuring that every piece is genuine and infused with meaning.

Pew, our artisan, uses ancestral techniques passed down through generations to meticulously craft each piece with care.

Each piece of jewelry is handcrafted in our workshop in Bangkok, far from mass production, to create unique, long-lasting pieces.

My goal with Lumbini is to design elegant jewelry infused with positive energy without the fear of being scammed.

And here’s a little secret: As a Buddhist, the name Lumbini is inspired by the legendary enlightenment of Buddha under the Bodhi tree.

This is why I place great importance on the opportunity to have these pieces blessed by Thai monks in Bangkok temples, infusing them with a unique and profound spiritual energy.
